RWBY OC: Art Cyanocitta

I can't believe the "anti-hero turned villain" character from my RWBY teams has the most extensive reference AND I bothered to sit down and actually figure out her weapon....gonna have to fix that.

Team SKAI: Art Cyanocitta

• Cyanocitta is a reference to the bird genus which includes crows, magpies and jays. It comes from Greek "dark blue" and "jay". It's her family name and her family are fascinated by the sky in general (common for the people of Mistral).

• Born and raised in Mistral

• Colour: Blue

• Age: 28

• Attended Haven Academy

• Symbol: Bird with paint brush as tail.

• Semblance: "Attribute Alteration" - for short periods of time, she can alter her attributes (Strength, Defence, Dexterity). She can only have one attribute raised at one time. She can raise them significantly, but the higher she raises them, the shorter is the amount of time she can use it and her exhaustion afterwards. If used too long, she will faint and will be unable to move her muscles until she regains her health back. Her semblance took years for her to master and she originally was only able to raise a random attribute at a time, they kept fading or switching if she wasn't concentrating and only lasted a very short time. Her colour scheme changes depending on the attribute she's using because fuck science, it looks cool.

• Weapon: "Bladebrush" - Double edged transforming polearm. It's basic form is the polearm, with the blades being able to unfold. It can transform into two separate blades or into a shield. When in shield mode, it can collapse the blades for easier transport.
• Her family are wealthy upper-class citizens of Mistral and just like their upper-class peers, contribute to the arts. Her father's family are well known architects and engineers, whilst her mother's family were known for the painting and drawing skills in general. Cyanocitta family is well respected in Mistral.

• Having come from a high-class background and being generally praised her whole life for everything she did, Art grew up spoiled and arrogant. She has a rather nasty personality driven by a superiority complex which started in her childhood and was cemented once she reached full mastery of her Semblance. Art has difficulty listening to superiors and thinks she can do everything herself.

• Art was rather difficult to work with when at Haven and in general, she didn't socialise often with her team. She was jealous of Sunset's title of leader and how Kerria and Irvine quickly fell into step with her. By the time they graduated, SKAI worked fairly well together albeit unwillingly and Art grew a soft spot for her team, even if moments after graduation she lost all contact with them.

• She was given everything on a silver platter for most of her life and it turned her rather greedy. Once an adult, she found herself becoming dishonest and able to fake and act her way through the high society of Mistral to keep up appearances about her family; however she delved deeper into the corrupt sides of Mistral. Now, almost at thirty, she's working her way up the criminal underground and wants to take complete control over it.

• Art has two older siblings, Tempera (female, 37) and Chroma (female, 34). Tempera became crippled in her early years of being a huntress and became an architect. Chroma is an artist. Tempera will take over the Cyanocitta family architecture firm, whilst Chroma is meant to take over their mother's art gallery once she retires. This leaves Art free to do what she wants.

• TL: DR: Art has a god-complex, likes to eat her cake and have it too, is difficult to work with, dislikes authority and all while leading a double life of being a somewhat snooty upper-class citizen with too much time on her hands and a criminal mastermind. Most people hate her within minutes of seeing her actual personality.
