Lmao look the first ref sheet for team SKAI that isn't waaayyyy too big! Luckily Sunset's weapon doesn't need to be expanded and she doesn't have cool-ass tattoos so I didn't have to go extra on her. She hasn't changed much from how I originally imagined her, just made her design a little bit more sleek ^^

Sunset's based on the comic Sunstone is a way (which I really love and 100% recommend). Her outfit is full latex and it's a mystery to all how she managed to stay comfortable and not mega sweaty in it all day. She's also very mobile, which really shouldn't be possible in that look, but with her super awesome mystery powers it works and she baffles all.

Team SKAI: Sunset Stone

• Born and raised in Mistral
• Colour: Red

• Age: 29

• Attended Haven Academy

• Symbol: Hand with aura mist inside it. Reference to her semblance. Also vaguely resembling the Hamsa hand - sign of protection in reference to her responsibility as leader to protect whoever she's with.

• Semblance: "Aura Borrowing" which most people fondly call "Cheating". She's able to block other people's aura/semblance from use and borrow their semblance abilities from them. It has a time limit of about 10 minutes per use, as the person's body rejects the block and Sunset's body rejects the other person's aura. It does not make that person immune in the future however, the process resets. She has to touch the person to kick start the ability, it can be through clothes/armour, but she can't be a significant distance away from them.

• Weapon: Dust infused whip. It has four different abilities using the four crystal compartments in the handle. Fire dust (red crystal) makes it unbearably hot, Ice dust (blue) makes anything it touches have freeze, Lightning dust (yellow) sends out electric shocks. The green crystal is Paralysis Poison - released through the whip, it gets absorbed through the skin and within around 30-80 seconds paralyses the person. Acts faster if it hits an open wound or covers a larger area of skin. Paralysis lasts for 4 minutes.

• Sunset comes from a middle-class family. Both of her parents are respected blacksmiths, with her mother also knowing the basics of sword fighting and being a sword fighting teacher in her youth. Sunset has two brothers - older brother Copper (35) and younger brother Dusk (25). She's close to her family and always has been and took up the teaching position at Haven to stay in Mistral and be close to them.

• A few years after graduation and travelling as a huntress, Sunset came back to Mistral to teach cold weapon combat skills at Haven Academy. Although her preferred weapon is a whip, she's proficient in most cold weapons and knows enough to teach them. Her interest in the multiple weapons started with her mother's sword-fighting classes and expanded more through her studies and even more when she traveled after graduation.

• She's a very patient, but firm teacher. She can tell when someone's not working hard enough and mastered the "I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed" look to perfection. Students consider Sunset one of their favourite teachers. She's fair and is willing to spend hours of her free time working over extra stuff if they need it. She dislikes any sort of written or paper work and refuses to give it as homework to her students. Her classes are in majority practise based and her exams tend to be some sort of contest.

• Outside of her career, she's a confident and powerful woman. Sunset naturally gravitates to taking charge. She listens to feedback and ideas from whoever she's leading, but tends to think her way is the best way (it was worse when she was younger and less experienced). She cares very little about what people think of her. Her confidence and outward appearance might intimidate people, but Sunset's default is banter and more of a relaxed "You know that I know that you know I could absolutely hand you your ass" smile. 

• When she was younger and just starting out as the leader of SKAI, she was rather bossy and inexperienced. Sometimes she came off as rather awkward as her bossiness and confidence made her act before she though and then she immediately doubted her actions. She was quite indecisive back then and essentially a 'softer' version of her adult self. It was very much her way or the highway with her and it took a while for her to learn to listen to others more. With experience, she flourished into the woman she is today.

• In her private time, she's a a domme (who would've thought). She always has that sort of air about her, but she's quite private about it and only really discusses it with her partner at the time. Her partner for many years has been Irvine, her teammate.
